I'm totally new here - just signed up, and this is my first post.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for supporting Linux users. Some months ago I decided that I wasn't going to use WIndows any more, and switched all my machines to Linux.

This meant saying goodbye to some of my favourite software - particularly Poser - But then I discovered Anime studio for Linux. I bought it just a few hours ago, and have and worked through a few of the tutorials.

I can see that I have a BIG learning curve ahead of me, but it's nice to be able to look forward to some animating again.

Many thanks!

Shipping, but where to buy?

Sorry if I'm being ignorant, but I honestly tried to search for an answer. I was told on another thread that Anime Studio Pro Linux is still on a beta testing phase, but according to this post from 2007, it should have been in shops for a long time.

So, is Anime Studio Pro Linux in shops or not? If not, why it was told back in 2007 that it would be shipping?

I've tried to search for Linux version, but all I see in Win/Mac Os.

Thanks a lot!!

That was AS 5.6. AS version 6 has just been released for windows and Mac. the linux version of that still neds some testing before they can release it.
The 5.6 linux verison has been pulled back since there is a newer version, just not for linux just yet.
Hopefully it will be released pretty soon.

Thanks again rylleman. I'm not in a hurry, so it's quite ok. I was just confused because of their unusual business plan ;) Would be understandable to keep at least the older version in sale.
