I am starting to do point by point animation and I love it. But I have some problems.
Let's say you have a front, 3/4 and side view of the head. Maybe I want the tween to stop somewhere between the 3/4 and side view instead of going all the way to the side view- a stop or pause keyframe would solve the problem.
Any chance something like this already exists and I haven't discovered it yet?

Add the keyframe at the "Point Motion" channel not the "Selected Point Motion" channel. This will affect to all the points in the current layer. If yo want to do the same but only for selected then do it at that channel after select the desired group of points. Naming Group of points helps to recover those inserted keyframes correctly and to don't be in a mess later with a mixture of keyed and not keyed points.heyvern wrote:Go the spot in the time line where you want to "stop".
Now, right click on the time line and select "Add key frame". You now have a key that is created between the 0 and the other key. You can copy and paste the new key anywhere you want.

that rocks! I have been checking out your teamwork on the bones scripts- haven't figured out how to use them yet or if the one is all I need or all the past ones you guys have worked on.
I have been breaking down my faces and body parts into separate layers, making point-by-point switches for them (eyes, mouth) and using visibility to hide the eye when the head is turned to the side.
I would like some simple step-by-step instructions how to use your script because this might make my process a lot easier. I definitely don't know how to "embed" a script- sounds very complicated.

Embed a lua file to a layer is as easy as click in its propertiers (thre tree dots button in the layer window) and click into the "Embedded Script checkbox". It will ask for a file. Select it and that's all. It is done in the tutorial.
