I can't figure out how to export an animation. when I click on the "export animation" button the ok button cannot be selected. No matter what I do I just can't figue out how to export anything.
Any help would be appreciated thanks.

if you're using the trial version, I believe that doesn't allow you to export an animation, only to play back within the interface (which won't show all the render features such as soft edges, gradients, anti-aliasing, etc).

If I'm right, you need to purchase a license to render.

I could be wrong about this - I've never used the trial version myself, that's a vague memory of a comment from someone using the trial version, and it sounded like what you are describing.

Whether that will change to some sort of limited output in the update that's due out soon, I have no idea.

Have a look at viewtopic.php?p=25806#25806 and check wether you try something impossible in the non-pro version.
