How do I use the curvature tool?

I am working my way through the beginner tutorials and I can't seem to get the curvature tool to work. I select the tool, and click on a point, I then drag the point but nothing seems to happen. Any suggestions???

Don't click and drag exactly over the point. Just click near and drag. Drag left and right. It would modify the curvature with in the built in limits of the tools (0, 60 if I remember well).
For better control use fazek's curvature tool replacement. They are in the Scripting sub forum.
