If I widen the layer panel to fit longer layer names into it, the "eye"-icons in front of each layer vanish, and I can't properly select layers anymore. This behaviour returns to normal once I narrow the panel again so that a scrollbar is visible at the bottom - but then again I can't read longer layer names, or layers which are deeply nested.

I'm running a ppc mac with 10.4.10 and I can't duplicate the problem... ????

I can make the Layer Panel wider than my screen with no probs. PC on Win XP
