if ya get me....pretty noob question i guess but it has been buggin me...eg, i want a face and instead of cutting a box which may contain particals of background but i wand the edges of the face in colour and maybe a transparent background if ya get me?! anyone figure out wtf im goin on bout gizza reply....is ther maybe a seperate programme i should be usin?

PNG format has a transparency option. It requires an image editor capable of saving PNG with transparency.

If you have say a face on a white background, you will have to "erase" the white in the image or create a mask to make those areas invisible then save as a PNG with transparency.

The Gimp is a free image editor. I use Photoshop myself.
