This is totally amazing, no word on whether mere mortals will get access to the software, but WOW! The photo examples are cool, but so is the anime...

WOW - the dog follows the mouse cursor round the screen!!!
Simply amazing. Goes a lot further than bones or simple point animation.
Makes you wonder what's coming next

this is amazing, but i don't think it is so further than bones. actually, y see something as the vern's turning face (the famous) made reusable.
ok, it's not possible in AS, but i think it's not so far from bones neither.

It's impressive, but it's impressive in a "big studio can shave minutes off each days' production" way, rather than impact a small studio/single person. You still have to plan to include it in the production flow, and for a small or one-man concern the return on investment in money and training may just be not worth it.
But like I said, it's impressive!

It is very much like crazytalk. Which, is fun for about a day, then the "wow" factor kinda wears off. Not to mention it makes everyone look like a creepy robot:
