Looks like it was done with Anime Studio?

What do you think folks?

I love the unique style of the trailer. I´ve tried to find out what they used for this trailer but everything I found was a "making of" the game itself. You find a few videos here:

Videos No. 5 and 7 are actually "making ofs". Quite interesting - they used a lot of motion capturing for the game scenes.

I was going to make a thread about this but forgot.

It does look like it was done in AS. I beginning to kind of doubt if doing nice looking detailed stuff in AS was possible, and although I don't know if it was used for this, it does look doable.

I've tried looking for more information on how it was made but couldn't find anything either. I found Code Hunter though which is done by the same guy I think. It's pure eye candy.

Alright intarweb ninjas, figure out who/how this Heavenly Sword animation was made and you get a cookie!

Edit: Oops! Didn't click on the Code Hunters link above my post!

Hi,

I even emailed the production company "Ninja Theory" and asked them which software they used for the trailer... (I didn´t get an answer yet and I don´t really expect to get one  ) But as you mentioned - I think, too, that it is absolutely doable in Anime Studio (talent assumed...)

You guys are tool cool.
I'm glad you responded to the post.

I definitely think something like the Heavenly Sword
movie I posted is doable.

It will just take mucho planning and drawing.
I would like to tackle something like it.
Just watching it is very inspiring.
