Having some problems learning tutorial 3.4

Please can you watch this video to help me please. I've tried to cover everything about the problem in the video.

You made a mistake while creating the bones. Your left leg seems to be a child of the right leg, that's why it can't help but move with it.

Select the bone layer, select the top bone in the left leg, choose the "Reparent bone" Tool (P), click on the hip bone in the torso, hit space.

You see the red arrows indicating which child bone goes to which parent bone. While creating a skeleton one must always take care to have selected the correct parent bone before one crates several child bones to it.

Did what you said and now all works well.
