Windows Vista Bug ?

I have recently installed AS pro 5.5 on my new computer running with Vista.
Everything seems to work fine, but I can't open directly an .anme file any more as I used to do with Windows XP.
When I try to open any particular .anme file, I always open the StartupFile.anme file. So I have to open the wanted file by typing Ctrl+O and searching it in the folders of the hard disk.
This is not a big problem, but I wonder why it is so. A Windows Vista Bug maybe ?
