I just recently bought Anime Studio 5. I was going through the tutorial and was working on 1.2 Simple shapes. I had gotten to the end where you fill in the color, using the effect Gradient. I did exactly everything it asked for and yet it only fills the hills in brown, not in green and brown with the gradient effect. Is there something that i am missing as it says go to File->Render to see the results but that i know is only in the pro version. So is there something that i need to do to see the results. I apologize for the stupidity of this question but i've been drawing for a long time and this seemed fun and exciting and wished to learn how to use this program.

Gradients only show up in the rendered image. In your case, you need to "export animation" and set it to export only 1 frame.

Let's see,if you hit the open button you will see the compete scene in anime studio,why it is part of the 49.00 one.it is to teach you what you did wrong or right. if you understand it at all.The demo is for 30 days the 49.00 upseting,but understandable.They might make a book on this (500.00).(A joke to somebody).Hahahahaah.(Dec.18 2007)end of nov.is quite clear?Hahahahahaha.the above date is the end of it.CRY about IT.
