Can I use Vue 6 Easel to create backgrounds with Anime Studio Pro? I know Vue 6 creates 3D backgrounds.

If you can "render" images from Vue 6 that would be the best way. I wouldn't think AS can handle the 3D files created by Vue.

Bryce 5.5 is free. Doesn't have the plants that vue has, but some nice trees. If you just want flowers try plant studio, it is also free.

If they are 3D obj files then I do believe they will work in ASP 5.
Check this out.

EDIT I added characters to the movie as well as show a vertical view.
It's a 3D obj file from Poser 7. I imported the room with all it's furnishings and then rotated the room on the AS keyframe timeline. I then exported it as a mp4 movie file so you can see the results.
After importing the .obj file I set the point offset to .025 under 3D options and that was all I did to it in AS. I didn't ever think it would work until I got the idea from girllearning's question.

Thanks for the idea.
Oh BTW if you want it colored make sure you put the texture files in the same folder as the .obj file. That's true for any obj file you want to import as colored.
How do you like that cool movie page dot Mac puts up for my movie?

Whoa! Great stuff. Would it be possible to move the camera through the room rather than rotating the room?

I'm not sure how. The 3D is on its own layer. I suppose importing or duplicating the layers and setting the depth for the layers might work. Let me play with it some. This is a new avenue for me in AS.

Another great idea to work on.
EDIT:
I uploaded an anime zip file so someone give it a try.
Added to the movie

and put the 3D anime file "The_Pad.zip" here...

Can't do anything with the camera, but if I use the Translate layer tool, holding the (option/alt) key down moves the Z depth in and out plus a Y or X rotate I can somewhat simulate a camera movement. Play with it and post it.
Here's what I did: ...

That's still very cool!!! Nice one rplate. I might start digging out some of my old 3D content cd's.
Cheers
