image texture movement

Does anyone know how to use image texture fill for vector shapes without it moving and changing with the camera moves? Sometimes this is a great effect, but for rocks and clothing it is distracting.

Right now there's no cure for that. You could possibly work with images layers and masks, so the images can be bound to bones.

Unfortunately, there is no fix for texture fill movement when using camera angles in Anime.
We also use some texture fills for rocks and clothing -- although sparingly because of this issue.
You can work around it somewhat by importing a specific texture (say "bricks") as a png graphic and using that instead of filling a shape with a texture (linking to a png or jpg).
For example, I drew two squares and filled with a "brick" texture (linked to my brick.png) to show the outside of a building. When I used a camera angle to zoom in from above on the building the bricks looked really "funky" to say the least.
I then directly imported the brick.png as a graphic and sized it to fit the squares, and when I zoomed in the bricks looked much better (not great mind you, but decent enough).
Obviously you can't use an imported graphic for clothing, unless your graphic is the same shape as the clothes (clothes are usually not square). But we still use texture fills for clothes, we have found that clicking the "stretch" option on the texture fill import box cuts down a bit on the movement of the texture. Not much but every little bit helps.
As to an upgrade fixing the texture fill movement problem. That would be great! But being an eternal "realist" (ok, pessimist) I won't be holding my breath on that update coming anytime soon. But hey, if I can be proven wrong, that would be wonderful for us Anime users currently going it alone in the wilderness.

This precisely why we need Moho/AS version 6. Am I the only one who wants this upgrade so badly?

Thanks everyone for the info. I thought that the image layer might be the only way, but you never know with AS. I think it would be worth the developers time to improve this aspect. I hope for an update as well.
