Is there a way to add points to a circle, drawn with the shape tool, without making the circle deform?

OK, it seems that the original file (that was supplied by the show's director) was in Sorenson Video 3 Decompressor, 600 x 350, Millions QDesign Music 2, Stereo, 44.100 kHz. I have tried running the animation out in Apple Animation codec which seems to have fixed the problem and is now importing in ...

Problem importing .mov file into AS7
Hi. I'm trying to to import some video footage for rotoscoping into ASpro7 but things are not working. It will import from the "import movie" from the file menu. However the frame rate is wrong. Here is my movie file http://www.bunyanfilms.com.au/hightower/homeicecream/Cool%20Cube/CC-sc2.m...

Unfortunately it was the client that picked up on the slightly uneven movement. With more time spent on the movement it seems I haven an acceptable motion without too many hand frame. It took a lot of fiddling around. If the frame ease-in functions actually worked properly I am sure it would have be...

Thanks G and Slowtiger. It's great of you Slowtiger to have a close look at the file. Even in you adjustments however I am still experiencing a slight incorrect movement due to the need to have linear key frames. I have certainly noticed that the ease-n or ease-out doesn't seem to work properly. For...

Something so simple seems to be so difficult
Hi. While working on an animation of the internal workings of a Hammer Drill I have encountered problems with getting a nice fluid movement with ease ins and outs. I chose to do this animation Hammer Drill AS file in AS to take advantage of bones and smooth movement however what a nightmare in tryin...

This technique would be excellent for a waving flag, Something that I had to do a while ago but found I needed to do a lot of work to get the flag moving right. The problem using this technique would be limitation that the bone layer is stationary and the vector layer moves. It would be great to som...

Thanks Vern and Slowtiger. It's weird that the bump only appears in the render. This is indeed a character for a TV spot. The number of points was due mainly to the end position this character has to bend into to form a company logo. I'll try and adjust the layer to see if that will affect those lit...

Spikes on Joints
I probably should have made the character with offset bones or something but I have a problem with little spikes appearing on the leg areas where I have segmented the joints to make the leg bend properly. http://www.bunyanfilms.com.au/hightower/wb3d/legtest.jpg Is there a way to fix this or would I ...

Thanks everyone for your answers. I think I will switch to an application that will be better to control these effects. Now it will just be a matter of matching up the action with the camera moves in a separate application. I may make the scene in AS, then render out a guide sequence with the sort o...

Depth of Field Problems
Hi. I am currently trying to lay out a scene using multiple layers with PNG graphics on them to create a background. I have 8 layers with 7 of them having PNGS and the 8th is a vector sky. This is how I have laid out the layers with Z values to create depth. Layer 1 z=0 Layer 2 z=-0.10 Layer 3 z=-0....
