Re: Can someone explain Vitruvian bones?
Awesome. Thanks. I see. So basically, if you want to create a character which has parts that a single bone configuration doesn't work with, you can create different bone configs to work with different shapes on a single character. This is cool because I can think of a situation I had in the past whe...

Can someone explain Vitruvian bones?
I am coming from Anime Studio 11.x and I just updated to 14 because of the $100 off deal and I am trying to catch up on the new features.
How are Vitruvian bones different from regular bone?

Funny,
Great first animations. I don't anything bad to say about it.

Re: Spook Squad—a TV Pitch animated in Moho Pro
It's great.
Criticisms:
Animation is too slow paced. Kids will lose interest fast.
The animation looks like it has a very low framerate which makes it look cheap to me.

Re: "Import by reference" breaks character's reference layer
Anyway, unless you're going to make significant changes to the rig, I think you should probably use the General Import command for the character. The Reference Layers in the character should come into the scene exactly the way you set it up in the original scene. The rig won't be dynamically linked...

Re: Penguin Snowball Tennis
Yeah, the head turns are possible simply by using photos of the head at different angles and then using a switch layer for each degree of turn. You also need mouths for every turn too so you end up with a TON of layer.
So learn how to use switch layers!

Re: "Import by reference" breaks character's reference layer
Yes. I was trying to do the same thing and it appears that layer referencing doesn't work the way you or I want it to. Basicly the idea behind reference layers seems to be that of you are collaborating with someone on a project, you can make changes to project file containing a character and the oth...

Re: Penguin Snowball Tennis
Hi, your animation is really good for a "test". I find that Anime Studio can be very good for animating raster graphics. I deal almost exclusively in animating photos.
Here is a couple of my most complicated projects so you can get an idea of what's possible.
