Re: Layer Ordering Commands

Yes i agree, would be super cool if we could navigate through the layers via keyboard. Even stuff like select root layer so it always goes one up i.e. from vector to group to bone.

Keyboard Shortcut binding for Menu Scripts

Just a "little" thought, it would be cool if we could set shortcuts to menu scripts because i have some little helpers like "Select Bonelayer" that i literally never use the button for but bind to a keyboard shortcut so it would declutter the toolbar a little if this was possible...

Re: Request of perspective bone script

I think the solution could be much simpler but probably only do-able by Moho themselves: smartbone actions on scale instead of just rotation ;) That way you don't need any complex bone set-ups you can just have an action that adjusts the points and be done with it. Could even add some neat extras li...

Re: Frame 0 should be linear by default

Yea can make it a setting. Or just have all keyframes visible on 0 by default whether you're in a smart-action or not then everybody can do what they want. I ALWAYS use linear or step. Since i rarely use the Mograph Editor 'cause it ain't all that good, i do my easing manually and linear gives me ma...

Consolidated channels should show icons

When you consolidate your layer channels on the timeline, every layer gets this "paper" icon like this: https://i.postimg.cc/tJzHnthP/Bildschirmfoto-2025-03-21-um-04-47-32.png This makes it hard to tell at a glance what you're looking at. I propose that consolidated channels should still s...

Re: Frame 0 should be linear by default

synthsin75 wrote: Thu Mar 20, 2025 1:14 am I agree. Even if you make a template file, with all frame zero keyframes set to linear, you then have to duplicate layers, instead of new layer, so you keep the linear keys.

I submitted an improvement request.
Thank you Wes :)

A word to all new users

I hope this isn't too corny but as somebody who trains young apprentices (16 and up), the whole AI stuff this week got me thinking and i think it's important for us older users to say this as well. For any beginner who maybe logs onto this server and sees this: you're probably pretty young (or i'm v...

Frame 0 should be linear by default

I think it would be good if all keys on frame 0 would be linear. Linear should imo be the default anyway, not smooth. I don't want the software to apply any easing without me explicitly telling it so. But especially on frame 0 it's more sensible since whenever we set up smart bones we usually put ev...

Opacity on onion skin

I dunno this has been mentioned often but did we ever open a feature request for it? In any case ye, just would like to be able to set the opacity/alpha of the onion skin color. If possible and even better of the outline mode too. And yes i know of the „use pastelly colors“ trick, i still would like...

Freehand Drawing still lags in hi-res mode (macOS)

Altho the interface in general is a lot smoother in 14.3, drawing freehand leads to lagging after a while (macOS latest version, Intuos Pro L). Once i start the software in low res mode, it's no problem. The problem especially appears when you have a lot of lines and drawing going on on the canvas a...

Consolidate tools – reduce the need for tool switching

While i love Moho it's unfortunately also one of the apps that can become tedious and somewhat slow to work in quite quickly when compared to any other animation/art tool i'm using. The main reason for this i found is the overbearing need for switching tools constantly especially with things like dr...

Simplify Vitruvian Bones Process

Vitruvian Bones are definitely a great tool. However, i somehow always dread setting them up because you always end up with a ton of overlapping layers, bones, etc. and a messy layer window where you're not sure what's animated when and so on. I kinda wishthe whole set-up process of Vitruvian Bones ...

A really good video about 2D rigs by Marc Hendry

It's not Moho specific but all these techniques are also applicable to pretty much any 2D rigging software.

He's really a man after my own heart and i fully agree with everything he sais in this video so give it a watch!
