judging from the passage you quoted i would say full 3d would be 3d planes existing in 3d space for starters

interesting that the debut user manual doesnt have that tutorial 5.8 (obviously meant for pro version) BUT it has tutorial 4.4 which is also meant for pro.

The tutorial has you render a preview image. then it says from the drop box save the image and open in your favorite image editor. the problem for me is there is no drop box to save the image from! just the rendered image window...no buttons, boxes or anyway to save the preview image. im using anime...

I had the exact same misunderstanding of the manual. Now that I've done it, the wording makes sense, the first time through however it was confusing.
