i think I'm starting to get my head around it now. thanks a lot Jack. but at the same time I'm still confused. As I am finally understanding, a file scanned at 100% @ 300 dpi is larger file size compared to the same thing scanned at 72 dpi. The file size does not change however when you bring a 300 ...

So JCook, what you're saying is that whatever it is, 300 dpi, or 72, but large, the file that needs to be zoomed into the same way, will be the same bit size regardless. So if I scan a pencil at 300 dpi, or scan it at 72, but put the scale % up to get it to the size large enough to zoom in as the 30...

wow. this has been my first time posting to a forum, and I have started quite a discussion. thanks very much to you all. About the resolution issue, I am a little confused. I made some little tests yesterday, zooming in at 72 dpi and 300 and couldn't really see a difference when outputted in quickti...

Thank you all for posting. You're a great help and it's nice to talk technical things with people who know what they're talking about. (from the great animation family that it is..) I just posted another big image with 4 different states of the same picture. have a look, it is explained under. It's ...

PNG files are the ones recommended. Other factors can affect the outcome, though. How big were the png images? Did you enlarge them at all in Moho? If so, you might think about using larger images, and once they're in Moho, reducing them to the size required. Also, it seems to me that exporting an ...

uncompressed quicktime export. quality is low

Hi, I am looking at the Moho demo, testing things to decide whether it is what I need for my new film. I had made a quick test of a cut-out piece on adobe after effects a while ago, so today I reused the same images and made another in Moho. I exported them both as quicktime movies with no compressi...

bitmap cut-outs, without distortion.

As you've probably gathered, I'm new to Moho too, and am trying it for a bitmap based collage cut-out film. I want it to be very classical looking, trying to make it as realistic (in terms of actual paper and rostrum) as possible. But I've been experiencing unwanted distortions when adding bones. Is...

layer settings changes images each time i go there.

Hi, I must just be missing something, but after I've imported bitmap images, and have put them together with bones... When i go to the layer settings and for instance, change the opacity, after I click ok, the image suddenly scales down. This happened when I was playing with the image settings, imag...
