Thanks. Alienware is great, but beyond the budget. Asus seems 99% perfect for my uses, but people consistently complain about the low volume. I decided on a Lenovo Ideapad. If tiny speakers wasn't an issue, I would have gone with Asus all the way. As for the mic, I use Giant Squid in a 3.5 mm jack. ...

Advice for Choosing an Animation Friendly Laptop?
Hi, I posted this question in another forum, too, because I need answers quickly. I need a new laptop under $800 USD that is conducive for the video and audio work performed in Anime Studio, Audacity, 3D modelling programs, etc. Just bought a Toshiba, but the fan runs way too loud and constantly. Mu...

Barry, Nice. I tried that with a single keyframe animation and it worked (clicking on layer translate and clicking on the screen). It copied right in. Makes sense it will work for other animations, too. I guess it just copies the whole timeline into the action. Slowtiger, Thanks. That almost made it...

Yes, I love replying to old threads. I tried a basic spin following Selgin's directions and came up with the movie below. I did the animation in an action, then inserted the action repeatedly so that it cycles. However, it stops at the end of each cycle instead of spinning in a continuous motion. Ho...

It's an old thread, but I have to ask: I tried copying keyframes into an action and it didn't work. I'm trying to cycle an animation, the layers of which are all in one bone layer, but it involves much more than bone manipulation. It's very complex. Cycling while selecting the bone layer didn't work...

But How Do You Do It?
You cannot select points with create shape. You can draw shapes with it. This thread seems to be in Greek. How do you draw a straight line? "select points with create shape tool" does not tell anyone how to draw a straight line. Can anyone tell me how to do it? I'm trying to create a curve...

Now I have a new homework assignment.
Cool. That's a good start. I downloaded the anme file. Now, I'll read your post 5 or 6 times, stare at the anme file 5 or 6 times and look at Selgin's methods. Looks like a good technique.

Needs some context
That's a great gift you gave to advanced users. How about explaining it for the rest of us so that it's not just your inside club who understands it. Thanks.
