Here is the tutorial for 1-3. This is the first video I've edited since switching my image computer to Linux Mint, so there were some complications getting h.264 video properly imported into DaVinci Resolve. Enjoy, and let me know if you have any questions:

Blender for Moho Users
Hi! I haven't been active on the forum for a while, but I'm starting a new series for Moho users who want to migrate some of their skills into Blender. rIGZWCdOI2w I plan to do about 1 a week while I'm updating some of my assets for the next set of videos on my channel. I'll keep everything to this ...

I'm a little more surprised to see SEK along with Squirrel and Hedgehog on the list.

Re: Lip Sync Tips + Best Practices
There's a "Switch Layer Icon Script" that got a lot of attention a while back: https://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=34078 What it does is it creates small preview images for your switch layer. You can then simply click on the icon to switch to the indicated shape. The script al...

Re: Shaky Camera
For shaky-cam in Moho, you do need a slightly oversized background, or you can zoom-in slightly on the existing scene. But the neat thing about Moho is that the camera movements are key-framable effects. So create a key frame for camera pan and camera rotate at the time of your choice, right-click t...

Re: Transparency with OpenEXR files
I can work around it, but I liked the compactness of OpenEXR and I wanted to see if I could try some color tricks with the Moho and Blender assets in DaVinci Resolve. My first time trying it, so I shouldn't expect it to work without any complications.

Transparency with OpenEXR files
I've been working with some OpenEXR files exported from Blender with some of my work recently. The transparency works fine when they're taken directly into DaVinci Resolve, but the normally checkered transparency areas are blacked out when imported into Moho 13.5. Is there a secondary setting somewh...

Re: Animating with just lines
Try this layer composition: - Character Bone Layer, enable masking; hide all -- Copy of Background texture, mask this layer -- Other body lines, don't mask, don't add to mask -- Face layer, add to mask, exclude strokes -- Other body lines, don't mask, don't add to mask - Background Lines - Backgroun...

Re: Motion Blur in Animation.
Moho's motion blur feature seems to apply multiple additional transparent layers, which greatly increases the processing overhead since each image is its own layer. On the few times I've tried to introduce motion blur in a sequence, I'll import the individual images into a separate program and smear...

Re: Model Rigging Q: Best Practice for character turnarounds
If mouth switch layers are your preferred process, you could apply a smart mesh to the entire switch layer. As the head turns left or right, you can use the smart mesh to compress or stretch the appropriate side of the mouth.

Re: Body turn involved layer ordering and can't adjust layer ordering later in the main timeline.
Layer order is a discrete keyframe change, similar to selecting a switch layer. This makes a smartbone assigned to layer order very different from a smartbone assigned to a continuous change. Let's say you have two smartbones: one moves a layer's position to the left, the other moves it to the right...

Re: What additional software are you using alongside Moho?
I record audio in Audacity, which supports a range of microphones and offers good noise reduction and compressor effects. For video editing, I use Davinci Resolve, as many others have suggested. You should check your video card compatibility before choosing DaVi-R, though, since version 18 requires ...

Quality find.
I've been looking for something to help me add a little more texture to Moho and Blender, and this definitely looks like it would do the job.
