Re: How to make shadow layer move with character
Thanks guys, I'll try that next time. IN other words doing the animation first. The tutorial didn't do that and somehow worked without other steps. What I did in the end was I made the shadow layer and cut and pasted the increments on the timeline into the same place and that worked. Workaround for ...

Re: How to make shadow layer move with character
I suppose I can copy all the points in the timeline into the cloned rig's timeline, but the tutorials I saw show the shadow just moving with the main rig. Confusing lol.

Re: How to make shadow layer move with character
Doesn't make a difference in this case. Isn't a reference layer just a layer that will reflect changes made to the original rig after it's imported from the original file wherever that is if it's updated? If I click on the rig's layer and duplicate it as a reference layer it has no effect whatsoever...

How to make shadow layer move with character
So I saw some videos about how to clone the main bone layer of a rig to make a dupe them make it into a shadow. All good, worked that out. But in each case these vids then show during the animation the shadow layer rig moving with the original layer of the rig in unison. However they don't mention a...

Re: I just uploaded my lipsync script to mohoscripts
Hi guys, I've installed the script mentioned here for lip syncing and the tool shows up and the scrub works, but.. I get an error message as such: msPhonemes.lua:110 'for' limit must be a number Working on a Mac was wondering if Strider or anyone else on the forum had an idea of how to fix this, see...

Should I reinstall?
Hi guys, Just today for some odd reason Moho started running erratically. I was initially working from an old doc and thought maybe it was corrupt or something. But same deal with a new doc. I've restarted the iMac and zapped the pram etc, doesn't;t seem to be an issue with the computer. The interfa...

Re: Sound thru headphones while working?
Hey, thanks for the tip. Yes if I quit Moho, turn off and on the headphones and then restart Moho it works with the headphones. Oddly though the headphones are already on and I start Moho it doesn't work. Even though they are working with other apps I need to quit the headphone (bluetooth) then star...

Sound thru headphones while working?
Hi quick question. For some reason the audio when working with Moho and playing back scenes always goes thru my iMac's speakers. Problem being the room I work in is also our bedroom and thus I want it to go thru the headphones when working late at night when my gf is asleep. The system is set to pla...

Found it! Layer visibility when you double click the layer, makes a keyframe. I'm learning.

Re: Question about make a character's arm be in front and behind a desk
Hmm, ok actually the reference layer of the arm does (or the whole rig) does work, however the reference layer seems to be always on or off. I need the arm to behind the desk at first, then in front. If I toggle the visibility on a frame in the timeline it toggles on or off for the entire timeline n...

Re: Question about make a character's arm be in front and behind a desk
Thanks so much. I see what I was doing wrong. I had made a reference layer for the arm and placed it above the desk and the rig and thought it didn't work, but duh ... I was moving the rig on layer 0 to see how it worked. It works inside the timeline. Gotta remember to test things in timeline. This ...

Question about make a character's arm be in front and behind a desk
So I have this character who sits behind a news desk. The entire rig is behind the desk and a chair is behind the rig. So the character sits on the chair and has the desk in front. Works fine, but ... on occasion I need an arm to rest on top of the desk. Not sure how to pull that off. Thought maybe ...
