Hello there! πŸ‘‹ This time I tried animating the raster image with Moho. Turns out it works quite after if you pay a little attention to the image layers. The image was initially created for the greeting card, but decided to trying animating it a bit. As it can be seen by comparing the outcome and the...

Re: Would anyone watch Moho production devlogs?

Sounds interesting - I'd subscribe. But not just long screencaptures or timelapses: I'd like have either voiceover or at least titles explaining what is going on and/or what you're thinking while on each phase πŸ™

Re: Reverse keys (beyond alt+drag)

Thanks for the tips! End up doing initial version with that alt+drag and then manually adjusted where needed. Also replaced those hold-frames with the normal keys. Would baking do this for me automatically? πŸ€” I'll need to look into that feature.

See outcome in another thread πŸ‘ˆ

New year, new animation! This time short and sweet - once again particle system turned out to be useful here πŸ₯³ DRgSldwzvws And also something that could perhaps work as a gif as well πŸ™ƒ https://media0.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPTc5MGI3NjExamJybWgwZXVoajQ5ZWN2ZWZtenZnNGhsMXFicmJnMmhkcHk2YmxjbSZlcD12MV9pb...

Thanks for the insight πŸ™‡β€β™‚οΈ Will experiment with the different approaches - or combination of those plus manual tweaking πŸ˜‰

Reverse keys (beyond alt+drag)

I'm trying to do the reverse animation and using alt+drag to reverse the copied keys. However, the outcome has multiple issues (slowness, timing, switch layer, order etc.). See the screen capture: G50mHlaNzWM I acknowledge the hold-keys can be partially the issue, but do you have suggestion how to i...

Re: Christmas Table 🤶🐷🦌🎅

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, it would have made sense for a character to actually speak up. Haven't done any voice acting yet - nor used one of those AI-powered voice generators πŸ€” Perhaps something to try in a next project!

Shapes with blending modes and outline view

My wish for 2026 and Moho is to have a capability of setting the blending mode for shapes and see them in the outline view πŸ™ While at it, please consider following feature requests: When a shape is selected in the outline, the transform actions are limited to the selected shape only. Add more column...

Christmas Table 🤶🐷🦌🎅

Sharing the notes from my Christmas greetings project. Once again this was a biggest and most educating thing I've done with the Moho so far πŸ™ I was planning to have hand-drawn background for the scene, but ran out of time (wanted to post it before the xmas πŸ˜…). There are many thing I'd like to see i...

Re: Mask arithmetics: Remove first, add second

UPDATE: Eventually I had to put part of the masking logic into subfolder (torso) in order it work as expected. Otherwise tableMask did not subtract elements from the outcome πŸ€” Perhaps someone can explain how mask arithmetics should work? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ https://ik.imagekit.io/dosrobots/wg-g99xTpR3kUTa6D2CDtEbi...

Mask arithmetics: Remove first, add second

Not sure if this is a common knowledge, but something l learnt today and decided to share it with you. When you're adding and removing mask elements, pay attention to the order: Remove elements first, add new second . Otherwise the outcome may not be as expected. I assumed only the order of the laye...

Re: Regular points vs. Bezier points

Thanks! It makes sense now πŸ™‡β€β™‚οΈ Also, it seems that using both regular and bezier point may be fine. Until one runs into issues with it and then using the regular point (balanced handles) should fix the issue. All Moho Points start out as Regular Point . (Note: I'm not sure 'Regular' is an official ...

Re: Cyclist in the Autumn 🚴‍♀️🍂

I think it looks pretty cool! The water puddles could be a bit darker in color to match the road but still shows the reflections but other than that, very nice! Thanks! I was thinking the puddles would reflect the (lighter) sky, but you are right, they could be darker πŸ‘ Nice, but that lack of a nec...

Regular points vs. Bezier points

In Moho, are there two types of points, regular and bezier? How to create them? Or more specifically, how to avoid creating the bezier points if I want to use regular points (which should not be problematic in animations)? I've learned the concept of points from these excellent tutorials by Greenla...
