Well, I strongly disagree with this (and I think Vern would as well) but perhaps you don't use bones to deform shapes the way I do.

With bones (and deforming arm or leg shapes, for example) it DOES hurt to have more. It hurts a lot <bg>.

And, of course, trying to do any kind of morphing you definitely only want the number of points you need. More just means a tremendous amount of work.

I use my tablet. Use a WACOM Intuos 3. Man its awesome. I draw all my stuf in PS first and then import into AS, don't really ever draw in AS, unless its precision stuff, then I might use my laptop's trackpad. But generally, I use my WACOM for most AS stuff. Seems to 'flow' much more I guess.
