That's what I noticed. It looks to me like this is user error.
:lol: You are right. To me this kind of thing is always hard to explain. If you don't mark a keyframe in you action, AS will interpolate the keyframes which are just before and after your referenced action. This behavior is fantastic for actions which involves just a part of the character, for example, lift the right eyebrow or change the color of the cheeks. And, of course, blend morph multiply the possibilities.
