This look great Selgin, I love the style.
It's very well done with the structure bkgr and the pulsing lights!
Bravo!

Thank you all for the nice comments.
The flickering effect was made on After Effects. I don't remember the name
of the effect, but I can ask them soon.
Thanks, Slowtiger, I'm lucky to work with the talented people of fluor. This last video is all their merit.slowtiger wrote:Whoah. This is nearly perfect already. May I ask how you did that nice flickering effect? In AFX?

Do you really think? I'm looking for a good story to make an animation, probably on that style, I really want to start participating on festivals again.slowtiger wrote:The other scene with the tree is equally nice. This style of animation (and these graphics) could be used for some philosophical story, something with lots of emotions. With the right music and sound this could be an instant festival winner. It has a kind of sensibility which you rarely see, especially not with that smooth execution.

Sorry, sbtamu, I think I didn't understand the question. Anyway, the paper background is just an imported image which (with an effect of After Effect) is continually reflexed while it's horizontally moving, so you can't see a notorious limit.sbtamu wrote:The background loops perfectly. Maybe have the background follow a path on the same curve as the ground?
However, modify a texture to make it loops perfectly is pretty simple. I do it in Corel Photopaint, but I just found this tutorial for Photoshop, which explains the same principle I use:

Oh, I see. No, it's only horizontal movement.sbtamu wrote:Thanks for the link.
What I mean is have the background follow a curve that is same as the ground when it is translated instead of just having it translate horizontal.
