just tried .mp4 import into ASP9.2 build 6776 64 bit - no problems at all here. So my suspicions are corrupt or incompatible .mp4 or corrupt AS build. Could you upload and post a link to the actual .mp4 you're trying to use? (not just the YT link and a link to a converter, but the results of you using that).
