I opened a support ticket.
I have a serial number ready to go.
I checked the file and it is corrupted. The error I was getting is a problem on the Mac when some downloads get corrupted.

Lost my PC means the PC is now lost to me. To be specific my PC was destroyed during my recent move. I can be more specific if you should require it. I misspoke in my initial post, "replace my copy" should read "replace my PC". I apologize for any misunderstanding this my have caused.Mikdog wrote:You LOST your PC?
Man. How'd you manage that? Unless your PC was a notebook or something. I mean, you can't really misplace a desktop... where'd I leave it last? In the kitchen? Bathroom? Hmm...

My apologies. I misspoke in my initial post and I believe this has lead to a general misunderstanding of my situation. It is my PC that I do not have the money to replace not my copy of AS. I have access to another box. This box has a copy of Moho. The box's owner will not allow me to install any new software but she will allow me access to her copy of Moho. Again, I apologize for any misunderstanding my poor typing my have caused.heyvern wrote:Wake up!!!Farbklecks wrote:I know that's not really good.
But I tried it.
Eager to get knowledge, as I ever always are....![]()
I tried to use my Serial for ASP Windows to put it into the ASP Mac/Apple, this doesn't work. (Tiger OSX on a G4)

Is it because a windows serial doesn't work on a Mac?
I know that the Box-version, (physical), has both abbilties, is inside a special hybrid number or two numbers?
Not serial numbers. This has to do with file VERSION compatibility. The file formats are the same. You can't swap around serial numbers.
You only get one Mac or one Windows serial number. They aren't interchangeable.
This is why I was curious about the first post... if tomfommber lost his computer why would he lose the software?
If your hard drive crashes you don't have to buy new software.
Sounds "weird" to me... like... well...
If you had a "bogus" copy of AS and your computer crashed or was "lost" you wouldn't be able to download and install a new copy... that's what popped into my head.
I am sure that is NOT the case here but it makes you wonder.
