OK!
Let's get this clear RIGHT NOW!!

I have put up with Chuck's punning schtick for a long time now,
many long years.

If the rest of you are going to get in on the bad puns too,
I don't know what I'm going to do.

So please, think about it and post responsibly.

Yours Faithfully

Lefts face it, we're just a bunch of incorrigible jokers. Time to reform ... Commitment to being serious, no strings attached ... Oh I am so terribly sorry.

Is this like a tickling stick?
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

Getting back on subject - I was going over Dales original question again last night.

30K is good for a < minute trailer and pitch book, taking set images from the script, cutting them into a story teaser, and animated in the final style. This amount of money is enough for paying people to work on the project, and more importantly, having enough money left over to get the trailer out ... this is one area which people haven't mentioned - to send out a pitch costs money, as does the time to travel to see investors/producers.

Other questions are still in the air, things which broadcaster/distributors might be able to help on. Do you make the film HD 16:9, in 1:85 2K (for digi-cinema but cuts well for BluRay 16:9 discs) or go the full 1:2.35 widescreen route (with a HD safe center). This is a question that needs to be answered now before storyboard and animation - how to release the film.
