I've got everything everywhere by now...

In the meantime, I ran onyx to try to reduce the intermittent beachwheel (windowserver and iconserviceagent acting up, as well as "IOPPF: Sent gpu-internal-plimit-notification constantly in the console, i don't know if you have that problem too, apple is so disappointing these days ). Anyway I cleared all kinds of cache, preferences etc... Now I just noticed the tool finally shows up in AS. Yeepee. Just gotta write down what all those buttons do.

I don't own a MAC so I can't assist any of you guys install on that platform. If you figure out an ironclad way to install on one, let me know and I'll add it to the first post.

But... but... the posts/tutorials I read on installing scripts said to open up the package contents! Ugh. I'm still new here. I never know when to ask for a second opinion.

I am getting used to the script right now, I never use the regular layer select tool, I just always go into the layers panel, so this is new to me all the way around.

Also: Where/how do you install the icon in the Custom Content Folder?

To install the icon just copy one of the provided icons in the dark or light folders to the same folder that you placed the LUA file.

AH, thanks! And I just noticed you can easily set custom keystrokes for script tools from the Edit Keyboard Shortcuts dialog (how long has that been there?) , I didn't know that. So now your tool is really handy for me, thanks!
