From a generous forum member HOSAMALABARY (I think) I've downloaded the following set of brushes:

They look great!

But unfortunately some of them makes AS 5.6 under linux to crash when select them in the selection dialogue.

Can you test if one of the followings brushes makes your system crash? If so it is a really strange bug.

Ok, I know this one drifted up because of spam but I'm going to answer the original post since no one have.

Occasionally I get brushes like this.
Sometimes it works to rename the brush. Otherwise try to copy the brush into a new image and save that.
But I've also come across situations where I've had a brush crashing AS which I've deleted. Then created a completely new brush from scratch and saved that as the same name as the old one (so I won't break styles by removing used brushes) and still have AS crash on selecting that new brush!

So, in all, I don't know what triggers the crash, one would think some small data corruption of the image file, but since it happens to completely new brushes as well this doesn't seem to be the case.

This is a pain and I have discovered it happens using the stock brushes too. The circumstances are whenever you scroll the brush selection box and then select a brush it crashes.

Is there any point bug reporting this or is it all over for linux fixes?
