Reverse keyframes - more key tools

It would be cool to have more tools to bring to bear on keys.
(Like reverse keys specifically.)

Macton's CC_Reverse_Layer_Keyframes reverses the selected keys of a layer. It may or may not work 100% though. I've started going through these to fix errors. If you end up using it, let me know if it gives you any trouble.

Cool thanks Synthsin, I'll have to check that out.
Can it reverse selected keys only (just out of interest)?

That's what it says it does, but I haven't used it recently.

Just to add.....when you run it, it leaves the orignal keyframes on the timeline and duplicates a reversed set at a user nominated point. Very useful and never had it play up.
On the topic of bugs synthsin75... When I use the split curve script more than a couple times AS becomes unstable and will often crash.

DK,
I'd have to be able to duplicate the problem, but I can't seem to. If you run into it again, and can perhaps remember what steps led to it, send me the file. If I can repeat the problem I may be able to track it down.
If I can't, I can always just say that's an LM script.

I get that on the split curve too, it is easy to reproduce. Take a circle, and do 4 split on it. Basically if the points become to small to get the right number it will close the program. If you do 3 it sames to always work.
Using odd space points on a unique shap can do it too.

Wow....thanks for replying Sage. I thought it was just me

)))
I wonder what could be causing it?

I'd have to assume this is system dependent. In order to get ASP to freeze up (haven't been able to make it crash yet), I have to do a ten split curve four times. So splitting it thirty times total works fine but going to forty gives it trouble. I've tried this on circles and oddly spaced points.
It does start to slow down at thirty, so I'd assume this is just hitting the system memory limit. Just like having too many points on a layer or too many layers in a project.
The split curve script has to build a table of all the points it needs to create before creating them, but I tried doing it without the table, and aside from no longer maintaining the shape of a circle, it also didn't help the freezing up.
Sorry guys. Seems like it depends on your system.

Thanks Synth,
That is great info, will have to try to get a better system at some point.
A trick I do to save myself when using split curve is save right before it at least that way I won't lose everything I did before it.
Really for any script this seems to be a good practice. I haven't used any that our on the forum yet though, just the ones that come with pro.
