as i read in many posts there is supposed to be a layer visibility channel in the timeline... to make a layer invisible and visible again on different keyframes. its probably very simple, but i just can´t find this channel!!
where is it? i´m using anime studio pro 6. thanks for any help.

It's in the layer properties (doubleclick layer). It is always set to visible as the default, which means that you have to set it to invisible to create the timeline and a key. Go to another frame and set it to visible again if necessary.

The same goes for creating layer transparency: the default is 100% (opaque), 0% means invisible.

Hi Katz,

Invisible layers are still visible if you select them in the layer list (because AS assumes you want to edit the selected layer)...try selecting a different layer and see what happens.

Cheers,
Muffy.
