Multiply not working as expected

I've been playing with the multiply blend method of the layers and I've found that it doesn't work as expected.

When I want to multiply one layer to other I expect that the transparent areas of the layers behind were not affected by the multiplication.

In Anime Studio seems that the alpha channels is not considered at the multiplication time.

Can anyone confirm if I'm right?
(in the examples, the red circle multiplies the white-black outlined circle).

Hello Genete, for that type of results, meaning those in other software, I would use masking, this is really the way it was intended in ASP in my opinion.

Imagine that the white circle is not white and you want to multiply the colors, why does it show a black area outside the circle? There is nothing to multiply there!!

Made the same test, one with a white circle, gives the same results as yours, then one with a yellow circle, then the red circle renders black, not the way it should be for sure.

I just did it in Gimp and ASp7 and got the same results as GCharb

I think it is definitively a bug but it not just a question of directly solve it. It has to preserve back compatibility with files that expect that odd behaviour.
