It seems like all the big shows are doing it: projecting a logo onto the curtain before the performance begins. I'd like to duplicate this effect in moho, especially where the logo "stays put" as the curtains open.

I searched around online for examples of this, and this was the best I could do:

If you scroll to the bottom, there is a series of pictures where images are projected onto various objects - a car, sides of a building, walls, a lawn, etc. I'd like to be able to do this projected onto a theatre curtain with moho.

Any ideas?

Have you tried using the layer blend modes to do this? If I understand what you are saying correctly then you should be able to just put your logo on a layer and set the blend mode to something like overlay. Please explain further if I misunderstood.

I think you should be able to use the same technique as I have done in thisFishlamp for your curtain, only I got the "logo" moving and the "curtain" stay still.
It's based on LMs Object Warping tutorial.
If you think it would be to any use for you I could send you the work file..

I think that would work if the curtain were completely flat. However, the curtain has pleats (is that the right word?) like this:



See how the spotlight is irregular on the curtain? That's the effect I'm looking for, except that instead of a round spotlight, I want to put up an arbitrary figure.
