Does anyone have a good tutorial for making snow?

I'm trying to make a subtle snowfall scene, not a snow storm.

Slow falling, large coverage, blurred.

Any takers?

New to the program, that's all. The help file could use a little polishing to point to some things too.

Is there a trick to getting shapes to fill properly? I've used the tutorial, pressed "spacebar" and it's a hit or miss when I get the "you are trying to make a new shape....".

Sometimes either works (yes or no) to fill properly.

I must be missing something basic.

Shapes takes some getting used to. Will have you pulling your hair out.

Good luck. Once you understand it, it will make sense completely.

Like, think of a balloon (outline) It can only be filled with water (color) if the balloon is CLOSED without holes.
