Menus in MOHO 5

I am a little uneasy with the use of pointer in MOHO5. It takes longer time to change my pointer without any shortcut. May be this problem has already been resolved in Anime STudio but I haven't purchased it yet.

Hello Aswa (Arief ?),
Sorry, I do not understand your question - possibly a translation problem.
Pointer? Menu?
Do you mean:
- adding or moving points?
- converting between smooth and peaked (pointed)?
- something else?
Can you show us an example of what you mean?
Regards, Myles.

Are you talking about the mouse pointer, also sometimes called the "mouse cursor"?
It's possible to change keyboard shortcuts in Moho or Anime Studio Pro*, but it's not easy, and there are few choices available for keyboard shortcuts. I'll put up a link to a forum thread about that if you like. I learned how to do it, but it is difficult and doesn't give me many useful shortcut keys that I would prefer.
*maybe it's possible in Anime Studio [not Pro], but I don't know. I have Pro.

You're so helpfull Sir/ Madam

.. yeach, I don't really know about technical terminologies, even though I use MOHO 5 for my works..
Btw, I am writing a book about film production from pre to post and including 2D animation. the book would be published by one national publisher in Indonesia (I got the contract) and I want to promote MOHO 5 and Anime Studio there. It's because the program is really powerfull! and easy!!!! and I make animation in only 1 hr!
Do you have any suggestion what features shall I include so that it won't give bad effect to MOHO and AS?
The animation would be combined with real/ live shot and 3D animation depending on the 10-minute script.
Thank you for the helps, I luv you all guys...

Try dragging to select it then copying and pasting it into a word processor or text editor to print it.
Note: use of a proportional font will probably result in misalignment. A monospaced font such as Courier will be more aligned (but may look uglier).
If copy and past doesn't work, let me know and I'll upload the text file somewhere.

The "really powerfull! and easy!!" part is a good start.
My opinions, worth what you paid for them

:
I would concentrate on bones (easy and advanced rigging, and bone constraints), switch layers (for eyes, hands, mouths, etc), and point animation for particular tasks, and also mention Papagayo, a freeware add-on for creating good lipsynch.
Bones are probably the best animation feature, and the fact that Anime Studio is so clearly focused on character animation.
For the Pro version: scripting, particles, actions, variable line width, and 3D layer placement and 3D camera movement are the best features in my opinion.
Even the Pro version compares very well in price to other 2D animation software.

I had to do that for myself yesterday, so I might as well share the PDF I made:
http://mooncaine.net/images/moho-asp/Mo ... rtcuts.pdf
Download it and keep it because I might not leave that file up permanently, OK? BTW, the fonts are big because I use huge monitors.
