Ok, I found the answer, it's No. You can not open a v7 file in ASP6, well, let me rephrase that, you might be able to if you are the god programmer and if the file is really small and if you knew what to edit. Too many lines have to be taken out that relate to the new functionality, like physics and...

Question 2... should I try to get a different version, I really want to stick with something that works, I'm already starting to run into some bugs with white lines, etc... I kept reading the questions everywhere about bugs and alot have mentioned that v5.6 is good and bug-free. Pretty much all I ne...

Thank you Mozbo and everyone else for the explanations. I just changed the animation to 30 fps and it’s much better, I think at this point the movement is still too fast for the human eye, so maybe the little bit of jumpiness left is normal?

What format did you render it as and what codec? - I did avi windows at 85% but I also tried every other setting and I get the same jumpy effect. What is the frame rate set at in the AS project? - 24 Is this just a layer translate from one side to the other? - Yes Did you import the render into an e...

My new project with multiple questions
Ok this is a character I just rigged and I have several questions as I keep working on this project but the first one I have so far is about the video I made. It seems too jumpy and there are trails of the character. Motion blur is off on every single layer and when I do ctrl+R I dont see anything o...

Oh wow thank you, this is gonna be useful on so many levels. This is kina where I'm at so far with my first character (pretty plain looking but I'm trying to see how I can add more to his face especially) - I used switches for mouth layers, only a couple so far - Actions and morphing for eye movemen...

Weird stuff when adding bones
I have a bunch of bones that I was able to bind manually to a character, then I changed the hand and arm design on the left, copied then to the right, so I had to delete the original right bones and create new ones. After I created new right arm bones and bind them they seemed fine but I clicked b t...

See multiple layers in the time line
I just started learning AS and I'm starting to understand the time line and key frames, but if I have multiple layers moving, I have to click on each one to see the relative time line. Is there a way to see everything from multiple layers at the same time?
