Re: Cut down insanely long render time from lots of vectors

I agree except for this video, the star movement creates a flow that's really nice. More effect than realism. And it's a music video so some psychedelic effects are nice.

Thanks again for your help!

Re: Cut down insanely long render time from lots of vectors

Hi! As I said, I can't really see the blurring on these samples but I scaled these down. And yes, I am exporting out as a png. Part of the problem is I am doing a lot of dynamic camera work (lots of zooming, panning etc) and keeping the stars scaled back enough so you don't see the pixelation or blu...

Re: Cut down insanely long render time from lots of vectors

I think I've gotten it to where I can live with it. I had to blow up the project settings to 4x to get it this way but anyway here is the blurred (I added a lot more stars before I rendered it): http://i41.tinypic.com/av5w09.png And the not blurred/vectored: http://i39.tinypic.com/2howirs.png It's f...

Re: Cut down insanely long render time from lots of vectors

Hi slowtiger. I posted my process above. I'd love to get it to where it isn't blurry especially since I don't think the particle thing is working out well (it's really difficult to control). Is there any difference from my process to yours makes my image blurry and yours not?

Re: Cut down insanely long render time from lots of vectors

Nevermind, it's the acceleration knob! I'm going to play around with this some more and see if this will work. Thanks!

Re: Cut down insanely long render time from lots of vectors

I tried to blow it up twice as large and it is still quite blurry. Just to make sure, here is what I did: 1)doubled the project resolution. 2)fit my stars layer to the window. 3)Exported the frame as psd. 4)imported into photoshop 5)saved out as a non-compressed png. 6)import back into asp as an ima...

Re: Cut down insanely long render time from lots of vectors

I tried to do the image thing several different ways and the stars always come out blurry. I even exported one image as a psd and saved it out of photoshop in several formats. Is there any way to keep the vectors but have them be less demanding of the render time? Even when only a few stars are visi...

Cut down insanely long render time from lots of vectors

I've been searching the net for an answer since Saturday morning with little result so now I ask you! I have a space travelling vehicle with lots of stars in the background. To cut down on vectors, I did not use the star shape: I used circles instead. I used a lot of them, enough to double the size ...

Re: 2 problems: Keyframes and Audio

I understand what you all are saying now. Let me proceed further with this information and see if I still have problems. Thanks!

I don't suppose anyone knows what is happening with the audio going in and out on one side?

Re: 2 problems: Keyframes and Audio

Let me clarify my problem further: I draw a circle and at frame 1 and create a keyframe for scale and the current scale of the circle is 1:1:1. Then I move to frame 10, increase the size of the circle 2:2:2 which automatically creates a keyframe for scale at frame 10. Is not the circle still suppose...

2 problems: Keyframes and Audio

I am trying out Anime Studio 9 to see if it can do what I want. I had a good bit of experience with Flash a decade or so ago. I am having two problems: 1)I thought the point of keyframes was that it would "stick" your object. In other words, if I keyframe the scale of a circle at 1:1:1, is...
