Re: walk cycle, how do I add keys after the cycle without breaking it?
For this reason I often have a split rig: one bone layer for the legs and torso only, and one bone layer for arms and head movements. If you want separation, there are several options to isolate parts of the same rig. For example, using the red timeline for selecting bones, colorizing bones, settin...

Tips on using Bézier vector handles
Hi, from time to time I see people asking about how to work with vector handles and bones during the animation and avoid unexpected behaviors. In order to take advantage of bézier handles, it is key to understand how they work and why they move the way they do. Moho adapts the bézier curves during t...

Re: update RIG in new animation without reference RIG
Hi. You can copy and paste keyframes from one character bone layer to another. They don't need to share exactly the same bone structure, but the copy and paste will work for the bones that share the same names between both characters. You can even rename the bones of a different character to match w...

Re: Moho Camera movement
Since the camera translation and zoom are different movements with their own curves, you can try using bezier keyframes adjust it, but some times in can be hard to coordinate both. A simpler option would be to remove the Camera Zoom keyframes and only use the Camera Tracking tool to move the camera ...

Re: about 360 smart bones notworking
Inside of the action, the thighs and calves have rotation keyframes. That breaks the IK.
Go to the action, select the legs and calves' bones and remove the rotation keyframes from them.

Re: Regular points vs. Bezier points
Hi. I always use bezier handles. Here is the tip Greenlaw was talking about.
It is basically use Sharp Corners for corners

Re: Particle problem
To complete the tip: for those who only have the barely necessary channels visible in the timeline, you need to switch on the channel for particles first. Go to "View > Timeline Channels..." and click "+" at the particle icon. This is not really necessary, unless you really want...

Re: Moho 14.30 crashing on opening
Hi. The -7089 error code means a Moho support file has gotten corrupted on your Mac. Make sure you've completely closed out of Moho (this is important, as it won't work if Moho is still open), then open up Finder. With Finder open, click on the GO > GO TO FOLDER menu. With that open, copy and paste ...

Re: After transforming in perspective, there is a weird parallax in the layers. How to fix it?
Victor, do the extra points from the corners serve a purpose? Hi. Yes. Quad Meshes work in two ways: When a Quad is fully independent (no points or other shapes connected to it), it calculates realistic perspective. When the Quad is connected to other points or shapes, it works as a proportional di...

Re: After transforming in perspective, there is a weird parallax in the layers. How to fix it?
Hi. Instead of rotating the layers in 3D, you could use Quad meshes instead. This kind of mesh will allow you to animate perspective without actually moving the layers in 3D. It is not perfect, but I quickly adapted your file here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/eh6prpcx8cdn49xbdw6e4/toast_v001_vp.m...

Hi. Those lines are showing that the "Stagger" option is on for those keyframes. To disable it, select the keyframes, open the Keyframe window and uncheck "Stagger". You can also right click on the selected keyframes and uncheck the "Stagger" option from there. Here's a...
