Audio Problems

I recently imported audio into an ASP 7 session and found that the sound moves from speaker to speaker as though it has a crazy stereo effect on it. The audio was recorded in mono though. When I listen back to the audio through iTunes, it sounds fine. Only when I import it, does it seem to break apart. Can anyone help me?

did you go to the audio tab in layer settings and unclick spatial positioning?
