I'm trying to import my character designs into ASP 7 from Inkscape. Supposedly, AS supports .eps format, so I've saved my Inkscape files in .eps format. However, when I try to import, no layers are added to the project. There are no error messages, yet nothing is imported.
Example file: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1645885/page201_haruhi.EPS
What have I done wrong?

Unfortunately, the Inkscape .eps save doesn't have a specific "legacy" option. I have configured it to use the simplest PostScript options available—I've restricted it to PostScript level 2, rasterised all filter effects, and converted texts to paths. Yet it still refuses to import.
(Inkscape is freely available, by the way)

“Intaglio”, “Graphic Converter” and “Preview” are all able to open the “haruhi.eps” file...
Saved as PDF or SWF any other 2D Animation Software I use could open that file...
Unfortunately Anime Studio doesn’t import PDF or SWF yet...?
Not sure if there’re any usable EPS- to AI-file converter around...?
(I guess, Inkscape doesn’t export to AI...?)
Regards

Clearly no other lack of feature has upset so many. I am incensed as I value my time and cannot bill Smith Micro for the hours wasted trying to load in perfectly good archival (eps!) clip art to save time.
For a cumbersome conversion workaround use Uniconverter... available at:
