.mov files not working.

I downloaded a few .mov files from http://www.detonationfilms.com/UnitK.htm
(hemostock) and when i put it into anime studio debut 6, the background is not transparent. is there a way to fix this?

Seems to be that videos have no alpha. Try with blending modes instead (on the video layer proprieties). If the background is white, Multiply should work. If it's black, try Screen.

When you open that file in your video player, get the information inside. It says "apple photo-jpeg" which is a codec not supporting alpha.

I doubt that you will get any pre-keyed videos with alpha for free anywhere.

Thanks Selgin. When i rendered with control r it didn't work, but once i exported then it worked. thanks guys!
