textures with point level animation

I have a vector shape with a bitmap texture on it.
Is there a way of animating the vector (at point level) and the texture moves/warps with it?

Don`t think so, since a shape which is filled with texture is just masking the bitmap image. There for you are able to edit "the mask" by points, but not the image it self.

Perhaps additional bones could solve a problem?
