New scene

Post by arwenc »

Ok prepare for dumb question...appologies in advance but I couldn't work this out from the manual

Say this was scene 1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILOB6jsoDrU
(its just a mock up not a finished thing)

What is the best way to move to scene 2? Different background etc.

Do you put all the elements of scene 2 in the time line at 0 and then just hide them till they are meant to appear?

How do you go about this task so you can view the scene you're working on.

Is there any way to save individual scenes?

Sorry if this sounds like gobbledegook -

I am still new to animation and this programme so please feel free to assume no knowledge if you're kind enough to reply.

thanks Jonbo

I think i'd like to use a video editor and string scenes together - what software does everyone/anyone recommend?

I know WMM can't (or couldn't) handle MP4 although I'm running Windows 7 now.
I tend to export to quicktime (if that makes any odds).

I use a suite of softwares called AVS4YOU. For 60 bucks, I get a lot of programs I find useful like a video editor and an audio converter among others. It works for my needs.
