GIMP/ ASP8

HI is anyone here using GIMP wacom and widows 7?

I installed an experimental win 7 version of GIMP and whilst it seems to work it didn't recognise my wacom pen just the mouse. I have thought of using an older version of GIMP and running it in 32 - to see if this will work better with the wacom, but wondered if anyone had any experience of using windows GIMP ASP and wacom.

I'm worried about fiddling with the wacom drivers and settings incase it means they stop working in anime studio. I'm running ASP8 and use an Intuos 3.

Have you enabled the Wacom in Gimp? You might have to do that.
Configure>Extended devices; choose Wacom pen and eraser and set these to screen (probably set to none now).
