The Quest

Post by psychoanima »

Hello good people, newcomer arrived! :D

About a two months ago, a friend of mine showed me this great piece of software. I was really amazed what all can be done with it!

And so my friend went on some business trip and left me his laptop with anime studio, so I can play/learn until he comes back :D And, my first animation in this software was born! :D

Enjoy :)

Very nice but I don't understand the story. (I watched it without speakers)

Only music and some signing.

Seems like a very personal piece, I liked it though!

Thanks guys! No, no, it's not personal, i'm just an observer :D

It is experimental animation, and it's about people searching for their identity. There are many symbols in this movie, but, that's my way of expressing myself :)

I didn't get it either, but it was very pretty :)

I likes the Moon's glow and the fire effect was nice too.

Hey psycho, very interesting :) and great progress for such a short time with the program!

the music fits well, makes it all quite touching... in the intro i heard a dark remix of 'are you being served?' which i thought was quite funny :P *(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Trhsw_BxT_k)

I particularly liked the 'kiss' part - very nicely done.

Thank you! Yes, AS is very easy for learning in mi opinion, pretty streightforward (and for example, adobe flash is still very confusing for me :D )

Ha, ha, lol! Beginnig really sounds like that :D But shhhh! Let it remain our 'dark' secret xD

Very interesting and unusal.

Spinning the image around was great.

the music fitted in well and the movements of the characters were well done. Almost minimalist.

thank you for sharing.
