My problem with MorphDials is that, my character head started with a 3/4 side view and I can easily make a MorphDial to centre the head. Turning the head, eyes and ears, everything looks good in the two positions. I can make a dial to just close an eye in the 3/4 side view and it looks good. But when I centre the head with the eye closed, it doesn't look good. Because it guesses the position of the centre closed eye and the points aren't in the best locations. But I can't see how I can re-tell it where to position those points when it reaches the centre position or if that's possible.
If I used switch layers, I could create a closed eye for the 3/4 side view and a second version of the closed eye at the centre view and have it smoothly transition between the two. But later on that will create lots of layers for eyes alone in different positions. Angry eyes, squinting eyes, half closed eyes… I guess there's unlimited amount of layers that can be added in Anime Studio. But it will make for a lot of layer switching instead of simply moving a bone around.
Cheers.
