animating switching layer depths

---------------------------------
Welcome to Internet, where the men are men, the women are men and the little girls are fbi agents.
basically im trying to animate a baseball pitcher.
when he throws the ball he turns which makes his arm go from
infront to behind his body.
so i was wondering if there is a way to animate the layer order.
if not then i will have to use more layers and make the previous ones
invisible and switch between them.

Aha! No, I don't think you can change the layer order during an animation (well, maybe with a embedded script, but that would be way too messy)
Yep, I think that's exactly what you'll have to do...if not then i will have to use more layers and make the previous ones
invisible and switch between them.
Why do it in moviemaker when you could do that in Moho? Just animate the whole sequence with the arm behind the body, then duplicate the character, move the arm in front in the new one and switch visibility in the turn.sour_jax wrote:Perhaps you can break the pitch into two separate animations one with the arm behind and one with the arm in front and play them together with Windows Movie Maker or something like that. The pseudo-scene change should be smooth enough to not notice a cut.
Well i guess he suggested to FINISH two animations (with different perspectives and view-directions (i dont know how to say this correct, iam a poor talented englishman)) and then in the final movie put the scenes together...sour_jax wrote:Well that's the "something like that". LOL
If not: Just forget about what i was saying.
If yes: This is a POSSIBILITY but not quite... well... you know...

.
Well... i have to go now...
