Sounds simple--changing the color!

Post by Kathryn »

We all understand how to change the color of a line. So how come sometimes it doesn't work? Does this happen to other people? Sometimes, for NO REASON, the color refuses to change???? I've done it a million times and it did work, but every once in a while, a glitch.....

15 minutes of frustration! I have closed, reopened, etc, and the line won't turn blue! Or anything. I made new shapes to test it on, I am at zero on the timeline, the paintbucket highlights the line/shape, and yet when I pick a color, it remains black and ignores me. What on earth am I doing wrong, or is it just a big major annoying flaw?

Thanks,
Kat

Just stay away from the paint bucket.

To change a line color just use the select shape tool (Q), select the shape then modify the line color on the style window.

You may also have more then one style on a shape.

To check this, select the select shape tool (Q), select the shape then press delete on your keyboard.

If there is still a style applied to your shape, it means You had more then one style applied to that shape, which may cause a line or fill so to be able to change.
