ok Spoooze, I just watched all six of your episodes for the first time, and as you requested I will give you my honest opinion.

Writing: There were very funny lines to be found in every episode. Things that remind me of Monty Python and Adult Swim stuff. The characters were very consistant and I loved the innocence of Lucky Bob. Some times the story slowed down, like with the text cards and the intro titles, which made it a little more frustrating than if it was all "rapid fire".

Audio: Voice acting was good. Great if you consider the fact that your not professional actors. Your levels seemed nice but some times I could easily hear the difference in the noise shelf behind the dialog when the different characters were talking, that can be very distracting. You might want to hide it by adding a soft b/g music track. (to fix for your next project you might need a mixer with a nice preamp)
Also I would like to hear another sound effect track to go with all your incidentals, it would really add to your finished project.
(i hope the Hitler song is Public domain, it should be if its older than 50 years or so)

Animation: Its simple and not in a bad way. I think simple animation can work well when combined with good writing. The first two fight scenes were hilarious (i hope you indended it to be) but the last one was a bit weak. We seem to be at the same "rank" in Moho so I can't really offer much help, just to make it seem a bit tighter. A few seconds here and there can make a big difference.

Well thats my two cents, all in all I enjoyed it. Keep up the good work. And remember to give me some constructive critisizm when I post my cartoons.

Soon there will be a release where you can download it all (as in all 6/7 parts added together) to your desktop.

I still need to work on the writing a bit. It will improve as I do more projects and get more practice. Your right, it is a bit slow at times.

Audio:
Yes. Audio is something I'm still working on. Some of the stuff in the beginning kinda glitches here and there and there is some noise sometimes.

Sound effects are also a work in progress. That's something I'm gonna work on in my next project. Who knows, maybe this one too :D

Yes, the Hitler song is goes back to the 1930s. So it should be Public Domain.

Animation: Simple yes, I agree. Good sometimes ,crappy sometimes, yes. VERY crappy sometimes YES. Still majorly working on fight scene, glad you thought they were funny :D Yeah, the last one was a bit weak. The next one hopefully will be longer and more exciting with more moving around.

Glad you liked it :D I will give some CC on yours too.

That's fast. I think your whole project would benefit if you took more time for your animation and not just rush it through.

Updates on part 7

Post by spoooze! »

Instead of one part left there are now two parts because there are 6 or 7 mins left in the movie and that's a BIG Quicktime.

My personal taste: several little project are better than one or two every year.
More work= more practice .
At least an one man team or so cannot create cartoon with the quality of the professionals; also south park has a big team ,money and time.
So better to do many smaller cartoon, with a lot of prefabs instead to sunk with a bigger , neverending ,cartoon.

I like rotoscoping old school cartoons (the lord of rings, heavy metal) but a thing like this simply take too time; a week for 2 seconds ? too much.

I follow the same philosophy of Spoonze.

You are lucky, I have only myself, but save Bruno Bozzetto and some unknown team, the toon industry , in Italy is non existent .
I would like really to have a small team , too; I should make some episode of a south park like series and try to sell it .
The quality of our cartoons , since Bozzetto don't work anymore, is awful .
